A night in December

Wool sweaters and neck scarves have all been shaken out of drawers here in Cambria.
Just a short drive inland and it fell to 17 degrees last night.

Squirrel couldn't wait to get home from his day at the river.
Snowman liked the cold weather and even stood for awhile listening to the night.
Squirrel made a cup of tea as soon as he got indoors.
Hedgehog made custards with  extra cream.

I'll be listing these pottery pieces on Friday (though I won't be able to reserve ) and a few more times too before Christmas.
Hope you are staying happy and warm on your December nights~
xx

Mimi stayed home sick from school today and the boys all went off to school and work and with freezing rain outside we are hunkered in for the day.
I just wish I was stuck in your magical creative world....your creations just take me away!
Best wishes to you in December.....Heidi

I love your little animals and the stories you create with them. Someday, someday I have to have one of my own. In the meantime, I enjoy visiting them here.

Snowman listening to the night... I do that, too, although I admit I get cold very quickly when I stay still, and can't listen to the night for very long.

Julie, your sweet characters and story have warmed my heart. They always do.

It was I think, around 19 degrees here last night, and frost is still on the ground.

Stay warm!

It's been very warm and unwintery in London. If it weren't for people living on the streets, I'd wish for some proper winter weather!
