Here Comes Spring

Sleeper Awaken. There's an entire extra hour each day now to plant out vegetable seeds, bake an indulgent dessert for your paramour or watch the birds zip around your garden. Every year I have a pair of bluebirds inspect a birdhouse under a pine tree, hoping they'll set up house. They are a true harbinger of spring and besides, they bring fierce good luck. Hope one visits you soon.

Hi Julie-
The snow is finally melting in my backyard, but the tall pines keep it around sooo long. We have tried raking, but it still too wet!

Your platter is so beautiful, it reminds of of summer to come.

I have a woodpecker visiting in my birdhouse right outside my kitchen window. I hoep she decides to stay.

Best to you and your wonderful pottery!

Hi Julie-
We still have snow in my backyard, but I can actually see the back yard, now!

Lots of birds have been visiting; I am seeing more robins than usual. Unfortunately, no bluebirds, tho!

Post more pictures - I love your work.

Happy Spring-
Liz
