merry little christmas

Have yourself a Merry little ChristmasMake the Yuletide bright.
Years from now our troubles will be out of sight.....
Here we are as in olden days, happy golden days of yore, Faithful friends who are dear to us
will be near to us once more,
Some day soon we all will be together, if the fates allow;
So hang a shining star above the highest bough;  and have yourself a merry little Christmas now
I might of gotten the words a little jumbled, but I wish you a Merry Christmas with all my heart

Dear Julie, Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. When you said you'd just finished reading the Little House on the Prairie books...It jogged my memory. Also at our library sale...there was a book by Roger Lea MacBride about the adventures of Rose Wilder when she was 7 years old. It looks very similar to the other Little House books. Have you come across it? I will enjoy reading it by and by I think. If I can get to it. We have books everywhere here...shock...=)
