jolly

The tree is what did it, made me feel jolly. Carrying the tubs of ornaments up the stairs, setting them on the red chair and looping them over bristley branches. All the while listenting to the plunking of a A Music Box Christmas.
I've made some new ornament designs. Like my very first deers, and this cat with fish.
And some standbys from down on the farm
New pages in my autograph book for hedgehog fans.
I hear Santa is resting up by the seaside before his yearly voyage
Drinking lots of fortifying punch!
Here at the faded and seaworn Foggy Cottage we'll be home for Christmas,

with grateful hearts and plenty of Christmas cookies..

Thinking of you all and wishing you all the joy of the season

Hey Julie, I imagine your tree is choc full of wonderful ornaments made by you.
Each with it's own little story to tell........
Love the little deer and the flower wreath. The page in your autograph book comes to life with one of your paintings. I wish Mr. Mouse would come and water my garden for me........

It's an overcast morning here but going to be high 20's I think there is rain on the way, so maybe I won't have to water.

Enjoy your Christmas Julie and all the best for a happy and healthy 2012.

Hello Julie, thanks for your comment, I'm so glad to have found you, your work is just beautiful. As regards lanterns, very easy to do, I snipped the edge of the paper on the larger jar to get a neater finish, then just gently wiped of the exess glue with a damp cloth. Hope it works :-)
