Snowman has an annoucement

Thank you for your comments for the drawing. I wrote names on slips of notebook paper and asked my friend, Snowman to pick one. No peeking. Snowman reached in the bowl with a mittened hand and drew out the name Lori, from Lori times five, for the ornament set. Then owl piped up.
"Don't I get to draw a name too?" so Snowman and I obliged, and owl pulled out the name
Christine, from A Mermaids Tale.

So Christine, (all because of Owl) will be receiving the two little cups above. Bluebird and farmhouse in the snow. I will email you both ladies, as
Snowman wants to send these two parcels off on Monday.

I've made a baker's dozen of spoons. Some are long , for deep mixing bowls, and others shorter for serving at the table. There are both oval shaped bowls and rounded bowls.
There are mice with pies, foxes with vegegables for their stews and hedgehogs all set to make strawberry jam.

There is even a cornish rabbit with a cornishware bowl.

All can be hung from a hook, as there is a hole and I've strung through waxed linen thread, durable and sensible too. Listing this weekend. And I hope yours is a lovely one.
xx

I love the spoon with Mr. Hedgehog on, presenting a red heart I think. Hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving celebration over there. Here we have snow!!!!
Best wishes,

The spoons are lovely! Do they withstand proper kitchen use and washing up liquid etc., or are they intended for merely decorative purposes?

Congrats to Lori and Christine :-)

Congratulations to the HAPPY Winners!!! You must have been VERY GOOD this year!!!
Those spoons certainly tell stories- every one! Who would use the spoons and for what reasons? They almost look like they were dripped into existence like candles.
You never cease to amaze us, Julie!!! Thank-you for warming my imagination!

Dear Librarian,
Yes, they can be used and washed in hot water,
Not real vigourously because they are pottery though. Perfect for serving............

I'm so happy because today I received my spoon that Julie made. It has painted in the bowl a bee skep, or bee hive and it is so cute! I am a recently "I'm quitting beekeeping" beekeeper. This spoon Julie made is specifically for use in making my daily dessert of greek yogurt and toasted almonds, which I then top off with a big spoonful of my honey. I plan to use the spoon for measuring out my honey....times two!

All so wonderful! I think I see a little spoon in my future. After Christmas when things slow down I'll get in touch.
